About our founder Mikiya (Kiya) Taylor

Mikiya (Kiya) Tayor was raised in Milwaukee, Wisconsin by a single mother. She is the oldest of four siblings. She graduated from Madison High School in 1999 and attended Tuskegee University.  Upon graduation Kiya lived in Maryland for 12 years, and currently resides in Texas. She’s worked for Deloitte as an I.T. Supervisor and as an I.T. Project Coordinator for Hess.  She’s served for 10+ years as The Programs Director for TMF and held multiple other leadership roles. She has certifications in non-profit management, non-profit board management, and program management. kiya currently works as an online Children’s Ministry Manager for Zion Church. 

Kiya’s passion for kids is unmatched, she loves coming up with new and innovative ideas to serve kids. She was married for 17 years, now divorced. She has three creative, active, and amazing kids Imani, Destini, and Naomi. they own their own business I.D.N.A. Sisters, LLC.
